Developement on SharePoint Portal
HBI Software starts with the developement of Pingar Channel Partner SharePoint Portal.In the coming months HBI Softare will be working towards the 'next gen' enterprise search platform which is built around Microsoft SharePoint 2007. This month saw HBI Software delivering the Pingar Platform to PINGAR LP, NZ.
Pingar provides an advanced search platform which delivers dynamic reports from a user's natural language search query. In short, it changes the face of mainstream Internet search.
HBI Software has been working with both the University of Waikato (WaikatoLink) and Auckland University of Technology to develop the complex and ground-breaking algorithms that drive the Pingar platform.
We say, Pingar has taken ‘the browsing out of browsing’. When you surf, you do it for real! Keep a close watch on this.

Pingar provides an advanced search platform which delivers dynamic reports from a user’s natural language search query. In short, it changes the face of mainstream Internet search.
Rather than using the keyword search technology deployed by traditional search engines, Pingar uses an advanced underlying technology that understands the context of the query. Users can therefore search online data by asking a direct question.
HBI would be responsible to develope the Beta version initially and then build the platform to host additional features like Wireless Serach Application etc

Work has commenced on the development of a new concept in business communications and knowledge management. The product has completed its requirements specification phase and is progressing through design and prototyping. It is hoped that Peter Wren-Hilton, Managing Director of HB Internet, will visit the Bangalore office in the next few weeks. This will help consolidate the relationship between both companies.
